Picking A Man's Chronograph Watch Is No Easy Task!

I know this article may seem a bit biased. Please don't be offended because I am by no means a chauvinist and is in good fun! However, my girlfriend, God bless, her picks out things for me that are a bit feminine In my opinion. I am a man and like man stuff. We were looking at watches one day and I told her I don't like fruity stuff!

I feel that if you are going to pick a chronograph watch for your man other then you should know your man. Don't buy one based on what you thing looks nice or cute or what you want him to have.

Rule Number 1: Make sure it is a manly watch! What is a manly watch? In my humble opinion one that is big and has wrist presence if you will. Get your man a chronograph watch that looks like it could be a Hummer . Breitling watches are known for this. Also, Zenith watches and Rolex as well as Omega. I don't care if it is a 100 grand Rolex. If it is small looking and rinky dink keep it for yourself.

Rule Number 2: Don't Be Cheap or Tight! For the love of God if you have the money to get your man a decent chronograph time piece then spend the money on him because he would do it for you (I hope). I am not saying go broke in these trying economic times but get him something halfway decent. If you are married then buy him the Breitling Chronograph. Hell, Half of it is yours anyway. If you aren't hitched, or married then get him something smooth like a Seiko, Timex, Hag Tauer,Citizens Eco Drive Line of watches are nice as well or Swatch at the Macy's. Macy's has a huge inventory of watches to pick from.

Rule Number 3: Make Sure He Can Use The Watch! Don't buy the watch just because you think it looks good or was pricey. If your man is a jogger then get him a jogger's chronograph watch such as the Nike Men's C0021-001 Hammer Watch. It isn't the best looking thing in the world but I bet he would rather have this than some kind of diver's watch he wouldn't wear.

Rule Number 4: If it's A Cheap Watch Make Sure it's Quality! Not everyone can afford a pricey watch. However, that doesn't mean you have to for go quality. There are a lot of quality chronograph timepieces out there. It may not be titanium or gold with diamonds but if your man loves you he will be happy you thought enough of him to get him a watch in the first place. Casio makes a decent watch and this company been around for years. They range anywhere from 20.00 bucks to 100. Timex has cool chronographs but a lot of them are digital so they don't have the multiple hands on them buit they are waterproof and certainly make good runners watches. Kenneth Cole has a wide selection of watches and they range from 50 bucks to close to 200.00. They are stylish, manly and don't look cheap. These watches are deeply discounted just about anywhere.

So that is my 4 rules to buying a chronograph watch for a man. I think if you go by my simple criteria your man will be happy on what ever occasion you are buying a watch for him on. If you want these kinds of watches they are all available through various online stores and at your local shopping center.
